The Beginning
A Vision Takes Root
The origins of Al Sadiq College can be traced back to 1969, when the Muslim Alawite Society was established to support the religious, cultural, and educational needs of families within the community. As the community grew, so too did the aspiration for a dedicated school that would preserve faith identity while providing a high-quality education.
That vision became a reality with the opening of Al Sadiq College, the first school of its kind, created to guide students on a journey of learning, personal growth, and spiritual development.
Today, the College continues to honour its founding purpose, preparing students to contribute confidently and positively to the wider world while remaining grounded in the values of their faith and community.
Growth and Development
From Foundation to Flourishing
From its humble beginnings, Al Sadiq College has grown into a thriving educational institution, now offering programs from Kindergarten through to Year 12 across two campuses in Greenacre and Yagoona.
Each campus is thoughtfully designed to support students academically, spiritually, and socially, providing environments where they can learn, pray, and participate in a range of extracurricular opportunities. The College operates under the leadership of an Executive Principal and is guided by a dedicated School Management Board committed to upholding the College’s vision and long-term success.
As the College has grown in enrolments, the educational offerings across the curriculum have expanded. Al Sadiq College is aligned with the requirements of NESA (New South Wales Education Standards Authority), ensuring students receive a comprehensive and contemporary education across all Key Learning Areas. This is complemented by specialised studies in Islam, Arabic and the Holy Quran, allowing students to deepen their knowledge, identity and connection to their Muslim Alawite faith.
