message from the principle
“Salam and welcome to Al Sadiq College”
Welcome from the Principal (Mr John Rekouniotis)
Al Sadiq College is a unique school that embraces the values of Australian Society within the context of our Muslim Alawaite Faith. As a fully comprehensive co-educational school we offer equal opportunities for both our girls and boys across a broad range of experiences, within our School’s curriculum. Our primary focus is on creating individuals who are well-prepared for the challenges beyond school through our motto, Knowledge, Faith and Purity. Knowledge relates to the school’s academic programme and the importance of every student gaining knowledge through diligent and sincere application. The Muslim Alawite Faith is central to all that we model to our students through the religious and wellbeing programmes, and daily prayer. Purity refers to the cleansing of mind, body and soul so that the individual lives a life as Allah intends us to live. The staff are entrusted to embed these values in each of our students in all our activities, so that when they depart our school, they are well-rounded individuals with a strong character built around their faith and the broad experiences they have participated in, including their academic studies, the competitive sports programme, a diverse co-curricular programme and an extra-curriculum programme that challenges the individual, like the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme.

“And Paradise will be brought near to the righteous, not far”.
Salam and welcome to Al Sadiq College
A place where faith, knowledge, and purity come together to inspire young minds and shape the future. On behalf of the College Board, we are honoured to lead an institution that embodies the values of the Muslim Alawite community and is a proud part of Australia’s diverse society.
Our Board is deeply committed to guiding Al Sadiq College’s direction in alignment with the high expectations and aspirations of our community, upholding the teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Twelve Imams (AS). Inspired by their values, we diligently oversee school policy, ensure full compliance with State and Federal legislation, and foster a positive, inclusive college culture that reflects our faith. It is a privilege to work with a team of dedicated Board members who faithfully serve the College with both generosity and expertise.
At Al Sadiq College, our commitment extends far beyond academic excellence. We are dedicated to nurturing students who are compassionate, resilient, and responsible young men and women who embrace their identity as Australian Muslim Alawites and are prepared to contribute positively to the world around them. We celebrate our students’ achievements, both big and small, and we take pride in watching them grow into individuals who embody the values of faith, knowledge, and purity.
Our College continues to expand, with increasing student enrolments and staffing needs. We are committed to accommodating this growth by providing a modern, well-resourced learning environment that supports both academic and character development. Our dedicated educators share this vision, creating a nurturing space where each student feels valued and supported in achieving their potential.
As we look to the future, we remain focused on nurturing generations of students who embody compassion, responsibility, and leadership, grounded in the values of our faith. On behalf of the College Board, I extend my heartfelt thanks to our staff, students, and families for their continued support and partnership in building a stronger Al Sadiq College for future generations. We invite you to explore our College and join us in this journey of faith, knowledge, and purity.
Salam and thank you for being a part of the Al Sadiq College family.
